31 Day Reset – Day 13: Conduct a Time Audit

“Four days will quickly steep themselves in nights;/Four nights will quickly dream away the time.” ~ William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Time keeps on slipping, into the future.

Conducting a Time Audit was somewhat painless. All you had to do was list each hour in the day and account for it. What are you doing say 10:00 – 11:00? For most of us that is gainfully employed either making money for someone or for ourselves. Since I am not working it was easy to see what I do with most of my time. WASTE IT! Time just keeps slipping away from me because I do not make intentional use of it.

I know that when I have plans for my day I am up with the sun and I get that done and so much more. But plans alone aren’t enough I need somewhere to be, an appointment to keep, because plans along will have me turning the alarm off and pulling the covers over my head.

So Littlefoot dearest you need to start living each of these non working days intentionally. If you have to get an appointment book and write things down then DO IT and stop wasting time. While you wait you can do other productive things rather than spend your days hopping around the interwebs. Up and at ’em kid!

How do you manange your time? What do you find to be the biggest time waster in your day?
Lady Littlefoot
