This weekend I went for a walk with my roommate to Parc de Montjuic . I’ve meant to go back to take in all of it, instead of just one view so we made an afternoon of it. We walked the from our place to Plaça Espanya a major transportation hub where an old bull fighting rink has been transformed into a shopping mall with a gym, coffee shops, restaurants and a viewing deck on the roof. If you visit Barcelona, it’s worth going just to see the bull fighting rink transformed with views of Montjuic. After stopping to enjoy the vista we continued our walk to the park where we visiting the Botanic Garden and had a coffee at the restaurant at the top. Here are some snap shots or our afternoon.
- Another statue, another pose
- Flitting in the flowers
- Posing with the statue
- Bacelona Vista
- Looking from Montjuic to Plaça Espanya
- Monjuic from the bottom of the stairs
- Arena de Barcelona, old bullfighting ring
- View of Fountain at Plaça Espanya from Arena de Barcelona
What did you do this weekend?

P.S. My pictures are in reverse order of what I want them to be. *Sigh* Technology fail at it’s finest.

I LOVED this…beautiful pictures…I can assure you I did nothing as exciting here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin…oh wait, I did one thing…I took a nap.

Hi Cindy,
Welcome. There is absolutely wrong with a nap. Just think of all the places you have visited in your dreams.
